The brainchild of a lazy impatient web developer, some things are just too easy and too useful to keep to yourself. We've written functions similar to this into ecommerce applications as a part of a product database that drives a site. The point is to empower the site's owners to easily compare the current market price for items they are listing on eBay and/or their website. When this is plugged into your website's product catalog database, it can be pretty handy. Just click a button and see how your price compares.
